JJ Ford

JJ is a Senior Director of Business Development with Veterans Alliance. JJ is a decorated USMC veteran with aviation maintenance and military recruiting experience. JJ was a Staff Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps, serving his first 11 years as a CH-53E Super Stallion mechanic. During this time of service, JJ managed all maintenance qualifications of mechanics, crew chiefs, plane captains, collateral duty inspectors, and collateral duty quality assurance representatives, and he provided recommendations for maintenance of the CH-53's. In 2018, JJ transitioned to a canvassing recruiter for the USMC, and in 2020, JJ was promoted to a Station Commander. In his free time, JJ enjoys playing basketball, softball, snowboarding, and hiking.

Matthew Parrick

Matthew Parrick serves as Director of Business Development at Veterans Alliance, bringing military experience and aerospace industry expertise to his role. His five-year tenure as a Military Policeman in the United States Marine Corps provided the foundation for his professional success.
Following his military service, Matt joined Boeing as a Structures Mechanic on the 767-production line. His dedication and technical skills earned him a promotion to management, where he continued overseeing 767 Tanker/Freighter operations. Matt later advanced to Boeing's Delivery Center as a Flight Line Delivery Manager, coordinating deliveries for UPS and FedEx customers.
Matt's commitment to service makes Veterans Alliance an ideal fit for his talents. The organization's mission of supporting veterans aligns with his personal values and dedication to helping fellow service members transition successfully to civilian careers.
Matt resides in the Greater Dallas Area with his wife Mary and their two sons, Maddox and Marshall.

Jonathan Wells

Jon is a Director of Business Development at Veterans Alliance. Jon recently retired from the United States Navy after nearly 23 years of service. He spent nine years as a Damage Controlman making three overseas deployments to the Indo-Pacom theater. He later transferred to NRD Phoenix where he spent three years as Navy Recruiter, earning numerous awards and 11 “Gold Wreaths” for recruiting excellence. He was meritoriously advanced to the next pay grade for his efforts. After the recruiting tour he made the decision to follow his passion and convert to the aviation community as a Naval Aircrewman (AWF). He flew on both the C-130T and the C-130-30 platforms as both the Squadron NATOPS Instructor and Wing Evaluator, training and qualifying more than 50 Aircrewman in earning their “Gold Wings” and accumulating more than three thousand flight hours. He left the service with 1-Commendation Medal, 10-Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals, and 2-Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medals.
After a successful career in the military, Jon went on to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management from American Military University and began a career in Aviation staffing with a focus on assisting transitioning service members and Veterans in finding meaningful careers in the aviation community. Jon enjoys spending time with his wife, Jill, and their six children, Kylie (20), Koryn (18), Davron (15), Blakely (10), Tinsley (8) and Jera (3), as well as surfing, wakeboarding, snowboarding, or anything outdoors.
